    AlArabia announced the winning for the construction and operation competition of billboards in Eastern Province specifically in (Dammam, Khobar, and Dhahran) on Wednesday, June7th, 2023, which was offered by Eastern Province Municipality.

    That includes different mediums and sizes of digital outdoor billboards in cities within the municipality region. Including two digital zones, whiteboards, buildings under construction, city landmarks, and advertising screens on building facades.

    AlArabia aims to develop the outdoor advertising sector in the Eastern Province in line with the identity of each city and its economies following the Kingdom’s 2030 Vision. In addition to adopting the latest billboard technologies in support of the Eastern Province municipality efforts in developing the investment system and revenue. Also, AlArabia seeks to contribute by creating an added value to the region, enhancing its urban landscape, and give an aesthetic dimension to its streets through innovative advertising to keep pace with the latest changes in the sector.     Eastern Province municipality succeeded in launching a group of investment projects with more than 2 billion Riyals total revenue that reflects the attractiveness of investment in the region. It also achieved distinction and first place in the municipal sector in the investment and financial sustainability system, and several awards for services and facilities provided to investors and entrepreneurs by the Ministry of Commerce and Investment, and Monshaat authority. The investments of Eastern Province municipality witnessed an attraction of a group of distinguished investors from inside and outside of the Kingdom as a result of the series of investment services and facilities provided by the municipality until it became a model for the investment system.

    Al Arabia aims through this project; To expand in the field of advertising and adopt the latest billboard technologies in support of the objectives of the Riyadh Airports Company within the Kingdom’s vision to make Riyadh among the top 10 global cities; to provide a unique model for the digital outdoor advertising industry worldwide, based on the latest smart technologies using artificial intelligence technology, in accordance with the objectives of the Quality of Life Program.

    On Tuesday 16/05/2023, Al Arabia signed an alliance agreement with the Saudi Company for Artificial Intelligence (SCAI) for the purpose of competing to win the project of constructing, operating, and maintaining outdoor billboards in the city of Riyadh (the “Project”) which is offered by Remat Riyadh Development Company. 

    The Saudi Company for Artificial Intelligence (SCAI) is one of the Public Investment Fund companies specialized in the field of artificial intelligence and modern technologies. It was founded with the specific goal of making a valuable impact globally by leading and building the future of artificial intelligence through best-in-class partnerships, targeted investments, and strategic capabilities. 

    Al Arabia will provide all its financial and technical expertise, commercial relations, and leadership in the digital transformation plan to change advertising concepts and build smart, dynamic, and digital cities as it possesses all the competitive elements at the international level in the outdoor advertising sector in order to manage and make this project a success (the “project”), provided that the second party, “SCAI”, will support the (“project”) through artificial intelligence technologies, technical solutions, big data, business analysis, development, and generate qualitative revenues that contribute to maximizing other resources of the (“project”). 

    The “Agreement” seeks to adopt the latest smart city technologies and improve the urban landscape to achieve the objectives of the Quality-of-Life Program. It is also part of the smart city initiatives in the city of Riyadh, and an extension of the authorities’ efforts through the use of advanced technologies in improving the ranking of Saudi cities in various sub-indicators. Second agreement is with Elevision Media, a leading digital advertisement company for residential and office complexes that owns all the advertisement rights of the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC), to be the exclusive agent to advertise at Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) and its areas for 7 years. 

    CEO of AlArabia Mr. Mohamed AlKhereiji said “These agreements are a part of AlArabia’s leadership in the outdoor advertisement sector in the region with its extended expertise for more than 40 years, we are happy to collaborate with Elan Media to enrich advertising revenues during FIFA World Cup 2022 in four countries.     Elan Media and Elevision Media will deliver the media and advertising platforms during a specific period and in accordance with terms of the approved media plan.

    The screens provided by AlArabia for Riyadh Season in the year of 2022 are the largest of their kind in the Middle East.
